Faith

Anyone having served in the military, knows too well the term preparatory command.
Just as a military unit readies themselves upon hearing their First Sergeant shout COMPANY…,
knowing full well that what will follow will be the command of execution.
So it is with the promises of God. There are preparatory commands or instructions that are to be followed in faith.
Commands such as,
“Stretch forth your hand.”
“Walk around the walls.”
“Go dip in the Jordan.”
“Go your son lives.”
“Forgive.”
“Humble yourself.”
“Submit to authorities.”
“Give.”

Ignoring preparatory commands of the First Sergant may bring his wrath and a multitude of push-ups. Ignoring God’s, delays blessing and gets you walking around the mountain again.
